Kioken Blocks is a tool for building websites that enhances the capabilities of the new Gutenberg editor, used by thousands of users in the WordPress community.

BACKSTORY

The new block-based editor Gutenberg for WordPress is impressive. However, it lacks certain features needed for creating high-fidelity designs and pages, which many users have requested.

Our goal was to develop a tool that can enhance the WordPress editing experience. Before starting this project, we've already contributed to the Gutenberg community by providing UI and UX solutions to improve the editor experience.

We have spent months analyzing the best ways to enhance the editor experience in order to efficiently create sophisticated websites. We began by implementing pre-designed layouts that can be easily imported into the editor.

The end result is a WordPress plugin that is utilized by thousands of users and professional customers in the community. We also use it as our main tool for building websites that run the latest WordPress versions.

After the product launch, we proceeded to design and develop the Kioken Blocks website using our own website builder. We carefully selected warm and welcoming colors, a suitable logo, and a layout that emphasizes ease of use while hiding the complexity beneath the surface.

VERDICT

Kioken Blocks is now a popular page building tool in Gutenberg editor, featured in respected WordPress news platforms such as WPTavern and WPJohnny, attracting a warm welcome from the community.
